Well, I guess my music career really started when I was 5 years old and my dad, who owned a music store in St. Cloud Minnesota, bought me my first set of drums.  My 6 brothers and 1 sister and mom and dad were all into playing music.  My first professional job was at the age of 9, playing drums with my sister Teresa on the organ and brother Joe on the guitar, at the Super Valu Supermarket in St. Cloud.   The family band, all 10 of us, played various different venues in the next several years.  Then, in 1969 my dad sold his music store and our house and took his 8 kids and wife on the road to play music full time.  With only 3 months of work booked we experienced PLENTY of struggles.  We played live shows without a home until we purchased our first property in California in Canoga Park in the year 1979.  The family band’s music history ended with a 4 year residency at Knott’s Berry Farm.   

We had several recording deals but none of them panned out. Recording music is my passion.  I began writing songs when I was 13 years old and have continued ever since.  I took a break from music to pursue other endeavors but have always continued to write, play piano and sing.  I guess once a musician always a musician.  The one thing in my life that I have not accomplished that I have wanted to is to see some success with ANY of the material I’ve written, arranged or performed.  At this stage of my life I do not expect to become a recording artist but I would love to guide others along the way, whether it’s building live shows, providing musical arrangements, writing songs, selling songs, singing for others or even recording artists in my home recording studio.  It is still my passion.
